It is important for all students - and very important for international students - to register for tests with the same name as you have indicated on your application and MyMIT account. Your record and test scores will not be linked to our system if the names do not match.

Part 1 of the application is just all your personal information, parent’s information and your interests. Send this in as soon as possible.

Part 2 has several short essays that will allow MIT to learn more about you. Remember to shed the best light on yourselves during essays!

Part 2 also includes an Activities form. USE THE FORM THEY PROVIDE. Do not submit a resume as an alternative.

Finally, Part 2 requires your grades. A grade transcript from your high school should suffice.

In addition to all this, if you have any supplementary materials to boost your chances, submit it with the procedure here Supplements
